An island entirely overtaken by pirates following the Summit War as retaliation, after the Marine Base sent its entire force to aid in the war. Despite all rational logic, the various pirates banded together into a strange form of militia-government and now protect the island from the nearby 80th Branch Marine Base's attempts to reclaim it. The towns on the island actually prefer the pirates to the Marines.

Ka No Kuni to its locals, this island has architecture and culture resembling Ancient China. For at least 30 years it has been locked in a perpetual war with the neighboring island of Nippon Country over ownership of the Sea Gate.

Nippon Country was once allied with the Wano Country in the Grand Line, until communication between them was broken off during the Void Century. It bears a similar culture but with much less adherence to tradition. They have been at war with Kano Country for decades over ownership of the Sea Gate.

A tall mountain jutting out of the sea, with no flat land to be found, however a river inexplicably runs up and around the side of the mountain, and a mysterious cloud permanently sits at the top that it somehow empties into.

A large number of Fishmen have made riverside villages along the river-mountain. They are generally peaceful and entirely oblivious to the conflict between the neighboring countries over who owns the island.
